20 Years Of
functioning Service

Prof. M.L. Schroff Memorial Library of Bengal School of Technology started functioning in the year 2006.

Until 2022 it housed in a spacious room in the main block of the college.

Spacious Library Infrastructure

The library is spread across a total plinth area of 4,098 sq. ft., providing a comfortable and well-organized space for study and research.

Extensive Knowledge Collection

The library houses 13,093 books, including 2,300 Book Bank books and 1,600 reference books, along with national and international journals, magazines, and newspapers.

A well-equipped academic hub with a rich collection of books, journals, and resources designed to support learning, teaching, and research activities.

Library Rules & Regulations

The library follows a set of rules and regulations to ensure proper usage of resources and to maintain discipline among students and staff.

These guidelines help in the effective management of books, journals, and other resources, ensuring fair access and responsibility among all users.

Need Assistance?

Book Bank services shall be made available to the bonafide students of this college and are offered in each semester for B.Pharm students.

Each B.Pharm student is allowed to borrow 6 books for one semester. M.Pharm and D.Pharm students can borrow 6 books for a period of 21 days.

Book Bank books must be returned within one week after completion of the end semester examination. M.Pharm and D.Pharm students must return or renew books within 21 days.

A fine of ?1 per day per book will be charged for late return or failure to renew within the stipulated period.

In case of damage, defacement, or loss of books, the borrower must pay 75% of the book price as compensation.

The library collection is reviewed every year based on usage and demand to ensure relevance and quality.

A separate accession register is maintained in hard copy for textbooks and Book Bank collections.

Library rules and regulations may be notified, updated, or modified from time to time and will be applicable accordingly.
